🏭 Plan your first production line
1. Search an item in the sidebar on the left — e.g. “Processor” 2. Pick how much: per minute, belts, or machines 3. Press + Add target — the resource tree, machines and power appear right here
Simple view — advanced tools (power, build BOM, optimizer, live mode, plan library…) are hidden to keep things clear.

My research — click a node for details · Shift‑click toggles owned (prerequisites auto‑included)

Columns are grouped by matrix epoch — the highest science matrix a tech needs — mirroring the in-game eras.
Research tree
researched   not yet   implicit requirement

Production flow (throughput-weighted; rates from the linear solver, recursive engine as fallback)

Edge width ∝ items/min · amber ≥ 80% of one belt · red over one belt
Drag nodes to rearrange (positions persist) · scroll = zoom, drag empty canvas = pan · hover = highlight chain · click = open in wiki.

Recipe overrides & exclusions

Set the default recipe for items that have more than one way to be made, and exclude recipes you never want the planner to pick (e.g. Silicon Ore from Stone). Applies everywhere.

Excluded items & technologies

An excluded item counts as on hand: the planner never builds production for it — it arrives free from storage/logistics (raw input at zero cost). An excluded technology gates its recipes everywhere, regardless of research state — useful to forbid whole branches (e.g. all X-ray cracking) without hunting individual recipes.

Drag/drop production-line designer. Pick a building from the palette, click the grid to place it (Shift-drag to paint a line/area, Shift-click keeps the tool), drag to move, R to rotate, Del to delete, right-click to remove, scroll to zoom. Import/export DSP blueprint strings with the toolbar.

Dataset

Data editor — correct any value

An editable sheet over the built-in dataset. Edits override the defaults, are saved with your plan (and in Backup), and flow into every calculation. Inputs/Outputs use itemId×qty, itemId×qty; Producers is a space/comma list of machine ids.

Sprite-sheet calibration

Both game screenshots are embedded. Each item shows one cell of the grid. If icons look off-centre, nudge the grid here — it applies live and is saved.

Override icons (optional)

Every item already shows its real game icon automatically. To override one with a cell from your screenshots, click its icon (here or in the tree/tables) and pick a cell.
